big rock, no roll
While digging out behind the workshop I ran into this beast. We’ve been debating the removal of a shrub in the garden, so this rock would make a good replacement.

There’s a fungus among us
Mother nature’s provided us with this little batch of wonderfulness, cropping up on the forest floor last evening and spread to double its size overnight. Any fungi fanatics out there might know what it is? That stump is about 7 inches diameter.
