Hey there! Been a while since we made a map that was a little unusual and thought you might like to see the process. The kind we like…unusual. Although the last one was a very large Map of Long Island, and the one before that did have a fun twist. Still…always fun to work through the issues that arise when making something completely new and solve them. Then give yourself a pat on the back.

The last wood map of Nova Scotia we completed was Wood Map Of NS With A Twist. When we cut out the map, we were left with the thin layer of plywood with the map cut out of it.

…Actually a few twists in this map of NS to arrive at the finished project. Makes things interesting. We got a request for a map of NS from an American gentleman wanting a surprise for his wife. I like him already.

Large NS Map With Painted Lighthouse
Got a request from clear across the country in Calgary for one of our wooden Nova Scotia maps. The one he chose was the New Nova Scotia Wood Map with a lighthouse scene painted on the map, except larger. If I recall, Jim said it was to be a Christmas present for his wife who is from Nova Scotia. Glad to help, and time to get to work. Christmas is coming!!
