Fuse anyone?
Monday afternoon we made a small dent in our poplar logs. It wasn’t an ideal day for milling with the wind blowing sawdust everywhere.

Work yard expansion
Finally getting some seat time to move the pile of dirt in the work yard. It’ll be good to have the extra space to maneuver around.

Culvert install
This 20ft culvert I found on our property, discarded by the Dept of Hwys eons ago when they did road improvements. They just tossed it aside down an embankment on the other side of the brook.

Custom equipment trailer
I’ve been giving some more thought to my needs/wants for a trailer.  What we’re looking for is something that can be multipurpose to haul our skidsteer around (equipment hauler) or be used as a dumper.  Or, when using the skidsteer to collect wood, to be able to pile on at least a cord of wood, then load the skidsteer back on and go.

Log cleanup for the mill
Cleaning up a 8ft pine that features blue staining (blue denim) and a lot of character along the perimeter of the log. Bugs be doing what bugs do when a log is on the ground for a couple months.

Canadian Tire Mastercraft Maximum series 60gal air compressor
I bought a new air compressor yesterday to replace the one that’s currently in the workshop. Its on its last breath. That Coleman served me ok for 10 years but a stint with an air sprayer pushed it beyond its capabilities.

SMG Champion sawmill delivery
You see logs? I saw logs! 🙂 Really… I cant. 🙂 (A cant is a sawyer’s word for cutting a square timber from a log). (That’s me in the orange t-shirt.)
