    This Saturday morning we load two cord for a long distance delivery and when we get back there, unload the kiln, load the truck and store the bin indoors for the rainy days.

    Yesterday I loaded 2 cords of mixed hardwood into the kiln, around 3pm. Then I turned on the kiln to bring up the temperature so that the dehumidifier can start its job of drawing water from the maple, birch, ash and beech wood.

    After spraying the foam insulation, next up on the kiln was putting in a wood floor. Oh, we are getting so close to finishing. We started with coating the floor joists with a roofing tar to seal up all remaining cracks.

    We are back to making progress on our kiln build. With the board and batten complete, the next order of business is to upgrade the electrical panel in the workshop. The kiln equipment requires electrical needs that the original, small 4 circuit panel just did not have.
