New dragonfly
Dragonfly A few visitors in the garden this afternoon and evening. This dragonfly is no more than 2 inches long. I had to hold up my hand as a backdrop in order to get the camera to focus.

A peeling situation to be in
Peeling logs by hand For an upcoming outdoor project I need 4 large diameter logs about 6-8 ft long, not to mention a number of smaller diameter logs. This Sunday was a fresh 6C outdoors, a perfect day to work for a few hours without breaking a sweat 🙂

Strange caterpillar in the forest
Discovered these creepy crawlers by the thousands today, crawling up the trees down by the lake. About an inch long. Have no clue as to what they are.

What bugs you?
Out of the corner of my eye, down by the wheel of the BBQ I seen this little flash of luminescence this morning. About an inch long, I have no idea what type of bug it is. With my eyesight, it looked like a smooth greenish colour but with the camera up close, it sure does look different.
Not exactly the green hornet!
