DIY Potato Stamp on Fabric
A while back I painted grain sack pillow covers and while I still love them, they can’t be washed because I used regular latex paint for the stripes. This time I decided after perusing Pinterest, that I would try my hand at using a potato stamp.

Wood Map South River Lake
While we were working on our last map of Mahone Bay, we decided that since we don’t live on the ocean but the next best thing, a lake, we should do a wood map of said lake. And so the wood map of South River Lake was born. Go grab a coffee…I’ll wait here.

Mahone Bay Wood Map
We love different or unusual requests. We have scroll sawn the map of Nova Scotia hundreds of times now. Could probably do it blindfolded. Although 10 fingers come in handy at times.

Large Map Of Scotland
No better way to start of the new year than making a large map. This time it is a map of Scotland and it is going to be shipped to….yup, Scotland.

DIY Carved Trees
While we have carved a couple of trees before, it has been a few years. Much like riding a bike I guess. After a few minutes it started to seem more familiar.

Horse Stall Sign

Map Of NS With Compass
Back again with yet another wood map of Nova Scotia, this time with a compass. We received a request from a lady in Saskatchewan for this map and she asked us to make a compass with her coordinates as well.

DIY Rope Basket
I did it!! I made my own basket. That’s what you have to do if you can’t find what you want… when you want it. And I would do it again and just might.
It all started when we received a snake plant from my sister for our anniversary last week. I took off the wrapping and saw it needed to be repotted so I did that but it still looked naked.

New Nova Scotia Wood Map
We have been seeing a spike in inquiries regarding our wood maps of Nova Scotia from right here at home as well as across Canada. We attribute it to the recent events in our province and the outpouring of love for Nova Scotia that has followed.

Metal and Wood Clock DIY
This project has been in the works since early fall last year. First we had to source our materials. Of course wood is in abundance in the workshop, the metal we bought locally but the clock parts took a little longer to arrive.
