    Spent the day finishing installing the Durock cement board, installing most of the drywall except where the plumberneeds to work. I’ve been told that 1/2 plywood could have been used or “green board” (moisture resistant drywall). I opted to use the Durock.

    A client recently bought a new home (built in 1982) and the bathroom is very small. So they are pushing out the tub 24 inches into the adjacent room. They called upon us for a review and an estimate. We discussed the project, reviewed the reno work involved and I gave them an estimate.

    A friend asked if I could help her with changing the sliding glass doors in her ensuite bathroom. Once I got there, she decided to also change out the vinyl flooring and install a new toilet. We managed to complete everything in a day and it looks gret. Below are before and after pictures.

    This unit stands 60 inches tall and 14 inches out from either corner based on the top shelf. This one made from MDF and painted with 3 coats latex paint. Routered trim on the shelves and vertical pieces for accent detail.

    This unit stands 72 inches tall and 22 inches wide and 14 inches deep. The upper and lower cabinets detach for easy transport. This one is made from MDF and surprisingly heavy. Painted with 3 coats latex paint.
