The Grind – Tag Team

Today’s video is a compilation video of a morning’s work at the firewood log pile.

It’s a physically demanding task, blocking hardwood logs and stacking them into crates for transport to the vertical wood splitter. The process begins with Jim using a chainsaw to cut the logs into manageable lengths, requiring focus and endurance to ensure each cut is precise. Meanwhile, Gina gathers the cut pieces and organizes them for stacking into crates. Using the Kubota skid steer, Gina lifts the heavy crates, each weighing 400 to 500 kgs, carefully driving across the yard to the vertical splitter. Teamwork and a steady pace throughout the process, ensuring safety and efficiency, leads to a satisfying end result of neatly stacked firewood.
