That’s the ends of it

Today is clean up day for the recent stack of logs with blocked and split. Since we measure the blocks we cut there is usually a short piece left over.

Not to mention that logs come in different lengths, ranging from 8ft to 9ft in length. There’s always a pile of ends to re-split and store in crates to sell at a later date. There’s always someone who comes along with a small wood stove, like tiny homes, that are willing to take the small pieces. This video of the day’s cleanup, there’s no talking, just lots of splitting. Not much to say really and we were simply looking to get the task done. It’s been a warm summer.
