Inaugural firewood run for Sterling.

This morning in the log yard proved that its been cold the last few days.

So cold in fact that even the icicles are reaching to the sun for some warmth 🙂

Now that Sir Sterling is ready for work, he needs to take a stretch to work out the kinks before working. If you are of a certain vintage 😉 you know what I mean.

No rest for the weary. We got a call from a senior citizen (well almost a SC!) and he’s low on dry firewood. We’re happy to oblige with some kiln dried firewood. The customer took advantage of the convenience of credit card payment and then applying the Nova Scotia Energy Rebate Program.

One cord to the ground in Sonora, our first time in the area. It’s just near Sherbrooke, the historical village with a road side woodworking shop and old fashion saw mill. Sterling performed flawlessly. 15 cm of snow coming tonight. They are gonna want another tarp on top to help keep the snow off.

Back home for some pasta to recharge the carbohydrates. And then a quick batch of sour cream cake donut bits for the coffee and tea breaks that seem to come around every couple hours. 😉
