Kaleb Emil Evrell, Eskilstuna, Sweden, assignor to Aktiebolaget Bolinder-Munktell, a corporation of Sweden applied for a patent on February 02, 1937, serial number 123,709 claiming the invention as it relates to saw mills and the use of log carriages as they move to and from the saw frame, in particular the devices for holding and adjusting the logs.

The invention allows the employment of the warping chains in a more effective manner. Patent granted June 13, 1939 #US2162299).
