Rain, rain, and more rain.

Woke up Thursday morning to a temperature, including humidity, of 32 degrees celsius. Oh… and rain.

Its a wash out!

In total we got about 47 mm of rain and it came down hard at times. Of course that means the driveway usually gets washed out, along with most of our neighbours driveways. Everyone is either downhill from the pavement or uphill from the pavement. We happen to be downhill.

Redirecting the water.

Just simply getting on our rain gear and putting a shallow trench across the driveway makes a big difference.

Still working.

Of course having it graded properly in the first place would be awesome, for for now this works.

Following the flower bed.

And a trench for across the driveway.

Diverting the water.

Some parts of Nova Scotia fared far worse, on the news they said that only about 1/2 hour from us they got 119 mm of rain. Others had power outages.  Worst part for us is you would think we could get a lot of computer work done on a rainy day. No. Internet was spotty at best, most of the day there was no internet. Long.Day.

Later.
