Winter Wood

Its that time of year, where the mornings are cool and the sun stays low over the trees until noon. Just right for moving wood into primary storage for next year.

We have 4 of these filled already, sitting since last year and now ready for this year. They hold 1 cord each. Now its time to prepare for next year.

Last year we cut up 12-14 cords and have it covered, up on the landing next to the driveway. Time to start hauling it down to the bins.

And yes, I get caught doing some actual work. 🙂  So who much wood could the Woodchuck Canuck chuck?
