Visitors this morning

Always a good morning when deer come by for a visit. Especially when they are munching on the greenery that otherwise would of fallen to the whipper snipper. I’ll have to remember to not cut it all down so they have something to nibble on.

These two deer are new to us. The ones we normally see are much larger. So I’m guessing these two are about a year or two old. Early this morning Gina had caught a glimpse of two deer, assuming these were the ones. One has a smooth coat, the other ‘s coat is missing patches. I took these pictures using full zoom on the camera, a little Fujifilm Finepix S1000, through the living room window. I then sneaked out onto the deck to see them a  little closer. I managed to sit down without alerting them but one heard the morning news tv in the background. Its ears perked right up and looked directly at me. Shortly after they both wandered back into the woods. They’ll be back I’m sure.

So beautiful! One morning we had seen a mother and fawn not far off your place, maybe they will come visit too!
