Safety Glass

Cutting glass is fairly easy.  I’done it with reasonable success over the years. The other day I got the idea to cut a couple pieces of mirror for a project. Its a little more difficult than regular glass and I eventually learned…

I had saved an old sliding shower door, figuring I could use the mirror for something… some day. Well that day came. I couldn’t figure out why the glass wouldn’t break off, eventually clamping it down on the table’s edge. But it wasn’t the clamping that broke the glass. It was the amount of pressure I applied to get the glass to break. As any science teacher will tell you, each action has an equal an opposite reaction.

Lesson learned.
