used Wallenstein BX42R wood chipper

We picked up a used wood chipper to manage some of the thinning that is required on the property. Drove a couple of hours to pick it up.
I already have a smaller 3 inch diameter chipper/shredder that does a really good job. But I wanted something bigger that could be PTO driven on the tractor. And, most importantly, with hydraulic feed.

As can see the teeth on that hydraulic feed should have no difficulty pulling in 4 inch diameter trunks and the throat is 10 inches wide so that means much less limbing before passing it through the chipper. The smaller 3 inch model like I said is great but the tree has to be almost de-limbed completely, just more work, to cut off the limbs, pick them up and pass them through as well.
All the hydraulics look ok.

The only part I seen missing was the twig breaker which is a part inside the cutting drum. I ordered one once I found it on the parts list and installed it. Installation video here.
