Basement bathroom reno continues 30 months later

Now, let me preface this by clarifying I said earlier “I’ll get to it.” Ok…ok…yes, its 30 months later. But at least its getting done! Right? 🙂

 

 

 

Framing is done, drywall and plaster, painting and the wainscot panels.

We installed the cap molding.

We also thought about adding an additional molding but the switches simply didn’t allow for good positioning.

Going higher just didn’t look right.

Our choice of flooring for the whole basement is an engineered walnut.

And here is where we are at right now. The plumber have been called in for next week to do the plumbing and the electricians will be in after that to finish off some final adjustments to light positions. I could of done it myself, but with the recession and all that’s going on, I figure the best thing to do is try and support the local trades whenever possible.

The tub and vanity install are next.
