Bridging the gap

The metal barn was pre-existing and the plastic dome sheep barn was recently added. Much of the heat was being lost between the gaps of the two buildings.

 

 

 

So I bridged the gaps with some 2×6 cut to the same arch of the plastic frame and then enclosed it with plywood. I basically built two small ladders and arched the 2×6’s to match the curve of the building. Screwed in place and sealed with expanding foam and Geo-Cel Pro Seal caulking (great stuff). This is before.
