This project was made at the request of a customer looking for a topper for their Christmas tree. This project is 10 inches high and 4 inches across at the base. Below are two pictures of a finished Christmas Tree topper lighthouse by a resident of Gander, Newfoundland, Canada. Notice the mini light installed for a beacon, a great idea!

This Lighthouse Christmas Tree Topper (10″ high, 4″ wide at the base) is made of pine and plywood. The base is hollow so that a mini light can be put in place at the top. Holes are drilled all around so that the light will shine through. 4 posts are set in place and notched so that string (or wire) can be looped around to represent a railing or chain. All seams and nail holes are covered with wood putty for a smooth finish.

This project was made upon request with custom dimensions. Also great as a side table decoration or as a center piece with a christmas wreath (or a life buoy) and a nautical theme of accessory items. The ideas are endless.
