Hand saw push stick

We all know push sticks are part of the safety tools in the workshop. Something as a straight stick will do. Depending on the purpose or comfort wished, pretty much anything goes.

To make this one I first cut the notch in the bottom, then simply put my backsaw on a board, penciled around it, cut it on the scroll saw and then rounded the edges on the router table. The notch eventually gets eaten away by the blade. Simply square off the end and glue on a new block. Good to go again.

We also sell a variety of full size patterns to make push sticks in our online store.
