This evening’s sunset brings a beautiful sunset with a rainbow halo!
Thick clouds came in from the west and we were just on the outside of it. I set up the camera to capture about 15 minutes of video as the sky was lighting up every few minutes. I then edit the video to show just the flashes in slow motion.
Such a warm and humid day. Now it cools and the maritime air is thick with the smell of salt air and calls of the loons across the lake.
I could of sworn when I went to bed last evening that we had a view of, well, something. 🙂 Very cool this morning, about 2 C on deck. The fog is thick over the lake. Yes, there is a lake, somewhere out there.
Mother nature’s provided us with this little batch of wonderfulness, cropping up on the forest floor last evening and spread to double its size overnight. Any fungi fanatics out there might know what it is? That stump is about 7 inches diameter.
Saturday was a good day to get out and start some spring cleanup, thinning some trees and transplanting 2 red maples.
