Well hello there. Long time no see. Hope you had a great Christmas. Ours was low-key. As of Christmas eve we still had no snow and the lake was mostly open.

Starting to sound like a broken record here, but more maps headed out the door this week. All of these are the colour choices of the customers.
Hope you had a good weekend. We had just the right amount of busyness (is that even a word) and down time. We finally got our tree up and decorated. You might think that living on land that used to be a Christmas tree farm, we would have a real tree, but you would be wrong. While the trees were trimmed at one time, they haven’t been touched in several (maybe 15-20) years. They are way too big to come indoors. Sooo… artificial it is. This is one we have had for about 20 years and it will soon be time for a new one.
It was a busy weekend, what with Christmas creeping closer. It seems like there is lots of time and then all of a sudden there are only two weeks left. We clued up all the orders to get them in the mail for today. That included finishing the Nova Scotia crib board.
Between life and work we are fitting in Christmas orders. Crib boards have been popular this year, for good reason, they’re awesome.
The last few days we have been working on orders for Christmas. Mostly Nova Scotia maps on backer boards and Cape Breton maps on backer boards. We have already posted about that process but this order also included lighthouses.
I gotta say even though Christmas is only a few weeks away, it doesn’t feel like it. Could be we haven’t seen any snow yet. We decided while the temperatures are still decent we would put up our outdoor lights.
