Busy Weekend
I feel like we accomplished a lot this weekend. First up was finishing the painting of Santa, and Christmas Nativity and Stable for a customer.

Short week!
So much to do and so little time. Thats how it seems anyways. We haven’t had a chance to mill anymore poplar logs and now we have a pile of pine to get done before winter. We have a running list in the office and other things have to get done first.
A lady in our neck of the woods contacted Jim to see if he would have time to install a new glass storm door for her.

More folding bench/picnic tables
On Monday morning we got a call from the store that sells our folding bench/picnic tables to tell us they sold the last one and could we bring another.

Weekend Puttering.
It was a quiet weekend here, uneventful really, just how we like it. Saturday was hot and humid but Sunday was cool and cloudy. We spent Saturday morning revisiting the first side of the shipping container.

Cleaning the yard
Before we move on to the other side of the shipping container we decided to do a much needed cleanup of our work area. In the background of this pic you can see the 2 large piles of logs that need to be dealt with.

Weekend update
Finally a perfect storm of good cooler weather and Jim feeling better got us back out to work on the shipping container board and batten.

Weekend Happenings
Good morning on this hot, humid Monday in Nova Scotia. We finally got a little rain but it brought humid conditions with it. We spent Saturday catching up on the little things that haven’t been getting done. Jim worked at a neighbours fixing her windows after ordering the parts a few weeks ago. And this happened…again…

More Nova Scotia maps in the Workshop
We’ve been working on a few Nova Scotia maps this week. One is on order and since we were doing one we decided now would be a good time to do the second one for a Christmas present. That will make one name crossed off the old Christmas list.

Shipping Container: No progress
When we last talked, the shipping container progress looked like this…

Shipping Container: Progress Continues
I was wishing for a cloudy day and today started that way so we were out ready to work by 8am.
