There are a number of ways to cut away detailed wooden map coastlines. To start, one of the traditional ways is to take your paper pattern and trace it onto the wood surface, then start cutting.
Another new project on the table. Red, white and blue. Should be an easy guess as too what its for. But I bet you will be wrong!

In the workshop today, this time making a natural wooden map. That means no paint. I just wanted to see what it would be like. I have to say, I do like it!
