Barkley the Bulldog bench dog
Something new in the workshop today, a new bench dog. This little guy showed up from the scrap wood pile. A couple layers of 3/4 inch plywood and a few nails. Would look fun just about any place, outdoors in the garden or on the desk as a paper weight. We’ve named him Barkley. 🙂

Meanwhile in Nova Scotia :)
Captured this moment on the doorstep this afternoon, just on our way out for a snowshoe walk. An ermine found itself a meal of squirrel. This is a couple times I have seen this ermine near the house. It probably explains why we have not seen any mice this winter. Which is ok by me.
