Shipping Container: No progress

When we last talked, the shipping container progress looked like this…

Getting there.

Well guess what. This is what it looks like as of today.

Hey, that looks the same.

You see, last Tuesday was a very hot day and I had been wishing for some clouds. We got those clouds but the heat was about the same. I guess we had a false sense of the temps so we continued to work all afternoon. Turns out that was a bad idea.

Long story short, we ended up in the ER early Saturday morning.

Hanging out in the ER.

Jim was diagnosed with heat exhaustion and dehydration. Apparently drinking lots of water isn’t enough. A week later and he still is under the weather but improving a little each day. Hopefully we can get back to work on the container some time this week or at least by the weekend.

First thing we have to do when we get back to work is fix this.

Yikes.

Saw it last evening while we were out for a walk. I guess the screw didn’t grab on to the strapping like it was supposed to.

I’ll keep you updated on the shipping container. Meanwhile here is the neighbours dog to put a smile on your face. We dropped by yesterday to let them out to pee and have a run. He is only a couple of months old but he hasn’t grown into his body yet, very clumsy. Love him. Makes me want a dog…just a little.

Jacob.
Adorable.

Will keep you updated on the happenings.
