Pine trees and porcupines
Pretty sure these tracks in the snow belong to a porcupine. We have seen evidence of bark being peeled form trees on the property, as shown in the following picture.
Shocked. That’s how I felt when I saw this. And sad too. We cared for, admired and were hopeful that this pine tree would grow up big and beautiful. Now I have to cut it down.
