Steamer trunk
This trunk was made from plans (and hardware) purchased from the Woodworkers Journal magazine publication called Today’s Woodworker Issue 29.

The materials used were solid red oak and 1/4 inch oak panels. The straps were stained in a walnut color and the whole project was given several coats of polyurethane. A very time consuming project but well worth it. It still draws the most attention from visitors at our house.
