Glass wall bird feeder

Bird feeder woodworking project.
A perfect scrap wood project

Made from 3/4 inch scrap wood pine, this was an interesting project to make. The shingled roof slides up to fill the feeder and the glass panes hold the bird seed in place, only allowing a bit out for the birds to feed on from the bottom.

The rope is threaded through 2 holes in the roof. Lift the roof up, refill the feed, drop the roof back down and the string keeps the roof in place. A bit of tole painting on the sides add to the project’s appeal.

We have over 50 bird feeder woodworking plans in our online store, but not this one since this was an early project of something similar I saw in a magazine.
